POPECHOI - Duulkam 908

What the artist says:
Melodic Intro, energetic sounds and grooves right come along.

What we say:
We start with a very warm intro, with smooth bass and melodies. Then later we start to hear some percussion develop with previews of the synths dropping in too. The track continues, dropping in the synth while providing us with that warm atmoosphere of the bass and pads. An ideal track for winding down a set, very atmospheric.

Solid Inc. - Earth

What the artist says:
Solid Inc. is a brand new duo consisting of Tom Day and Toby Emerson. Their first track Earth has received overwhelming positive impressions from those who have heard a sample. The track is progressive and incorporates elements of trance, electro, and house as well as some live instruments which give it an original sound. www.myspace.com/solidincorporated

What we say:
As soon as this track starts you know it's going to be good. Great percussion to kick things off. Then as we progress we start to get into the nitty gritty of the track, those electro synth sounds and chuncky melodies all come together. The vocal sample works well in this track. A top job from these guys, a very nice track indeed. Keep it up!

SF - Lonely Voice

What the artist says:
Progressive trance track with a soft intro which becomes a highly uplifting piece later on.

What we say:
A great track to unwind to. It starts off gentle and progresses into a nice piece. Great pads and synths, which work well together, the percussion goes well with this style, great job all round.

What the artist says:
Trance, Uplifting Trance...

Energetic, uplifting and full on. This track certainly packs it's punch. With rocking synths, uplifting pads and melodies. Everything a trance track needs. Great job.

Marninx - Stardust

What the artist says:
A dreamy tune with a simple though catchy melody, great for those early sets which build up to be big and energic. Think this will do pretty well.

What we say:
Agree with the catchy melody of this track, very nice. A great atmosphere and very uplifting.

Mysticage - Zeitlos

What the artist says:
www.myspace.com/mysticagemusic

What we say:
This track is full of energy and has certain psy-trance qualities to it. The breakdown works well, I think the chords would sound cool with a bit more echo or make them last longer, then as they progress they sound better. Overall a good production, nice job.

Active Bass - I Am The King

What the artist says:
What can I say about this track...Eurohouse with nice trance melo and house cut vocal. You can hear inside the track on the top beautiful opera voice. I think is a very good play with that kind of music.

What we say:
Armand van Helden-esque percussion, but with a twist. Liking the pads that are used. The vocal sample works well too, sounds like an old skool vox.

ELECTRONIQUE - The Real Life

What the artist says:
House

What we say:
House music at it's finest, funky and feel good! I was dubious about the vocal sample, but the way it's used and the gated effect makes it work really well, so nice job. Although, I would prefer this track with just 'the real life' used, rather than other parts of the sampled track :)

"Is this is this...the real life life...?"

Future Disciple - Producer

What the artist says:
orchestral trance track with power chords, super low driving bass. and plenty of nice rising breaks

What we say:
From the moment this track starts you know it's going to be good. Those pounding kick drums followed by an incoming synth set it up nicely. Once the chords and pads kick in, it takes you right back to 1998! Very cool, I like it.

Karanda - Karanda

What the artist says:
Karanda is a collaborative project between James Wood (Wandii) and DJ Andi C. We hope you enjoy this track and will be interested in it! =) Take care.

What we say:
Karanda is a full on uplifting summer track, with a cool name to boot I might add. It's got a real classic anthem sound to this, which I like.

Deft - Slow

What the artist says:
This is light-electro.

What we say:
This is quite a quirky track, which oozes those summer electro sounds. I prefer the first part of this track, simply for the way it's just funky and has some old skool elements going off.
